  • B.S. in Biology/Pre-Med, minor in chemistry from VCU

I graduated from Hickory High School worked in the veterinary field - even when I moved to Alaska (yes! Fun Fact) for 3 years. I managed a Microbiology Lab for several years in NC & TX. Growing up, my sister and I were part of the VA Beach 4-H, avid equestrians (still are), and surrounded ourselves with animals of all types. People would describe me as extremely bubbly, outgoing, and obsessed with animals! Finally, I have found something that I love and enjoy what I do!

  • B.S. in Business from LSU

I grew up in the the south, Louisiana, on a several hundred acre cattle farm. My nickname was always Elly May because my family never knew what I would bring home next. Fun Fact: I have rehabilitated all kinds of wildlife to include raccoons and squirrels and my family had a bull named Buster that I taught how to let me ride. People would describe me as someone that is short but not afraid to take anything on. After graduation I moved to Colorado and worked a large horse farm. Throughout my entire life, I have had a passion for animals and caring for them. Post a few management positions which brought me to North Carolina; I have now found that I love caring for others' pets.

  • I am local to the Tidewater area, growing up in South Norfolk when the roads were all dirt. I owned my own interior design business for over 35 years prior to transitioning into pet sitting. Most of the friends that I have, I have known for an extremely long time just by riding my first pony, King, as I raced police cars down the dirt roads and stopping when I saw kids my age in their yard. In my younger days, I had a passion for rodeo and once out on my own I continued with that passion with my trick horse Saggitarius doing half time shows. I have had animals of all kinds throughout my entire adulthood. Now, my clients pets are mine and I really enjoy what I do.
